Life of a Big Boy

When you are a big boy- you get lots of practice making silly faces while sitting on the potty, you also get lots of outside time at pre-school to get all your energy out and you take extra special care of your dinosaurs by giving them a view of the backyard.  Just your average day in the life!

First Snow

Last week our favorite Californians came to visit and we headed to Mt. Hood for Logan's first snow.  We hit the slopes for some tubing and checked out Timberline Lodge!  It was a beautiful day and Logan really loved spending time on the "big mountain"  - I think we have figured out how we are going to survive Oregon winters!

Merry Christmas - Part 1

We can call it a success - food, family, and presents!  Logan loved helping everyone open presents and he had no shortage of his own!  We watched Christmas movies, made our first "from scratch" dinner and had a great time just being together!  Now we get to look forward to doing it again with our California family! 

3rd Christmas

This will be Logan's 3rd Christmas - and I am so excited to share this whole experience with him.  This is the first year that he understands Santa, Christmas lights, holiday cookies and of course, the tree! I thought I would visit Christmas past since I can't remember past yesterday and stare at the cuteness just a little longer.  It's easy to get caught up in the craziness of the season, but making sure he has wonderful Holiday memories means the most to me!

Gingerbread House

It was a first for Logan and I.  Our friends hosted a gingerbread house decorating party - and while Logan did most of the candy quality testing, we both had a lot of fun and hopefully this will be a tradition we can look forward to every year!
